WP Theater & Bushwick Starr remount [porto], New Georges joins!

Last year through its January debut, we watched a lot and supported a little as playwright Kate Benson and director Lee Sunday Evans brought [PORTO] to The Bushwick Starr.  Their first big collaboration since their Obie-winning A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN NOVEMBER ON THE BANKS OF THE GREATEST OF THE GREAT LAKES, it was a beautiful production and a sold-out hit!

Next season, WP Theater and The Bushwick Starr are re-mounting [PORTO] in WP’s uptown digs.  We are thrilled to have the opportunity to support just a little more, as associates in this endeavor.  We’re grateful to our friends at WP — who helped us move GREAT LAKES uptown in 2015 — and the Starr for inviting us, and original producers John DelGaudio and Rachel Karpf, who did such a fantastic job.  If you didn’t catch it before, or even if you did, hope to see you early next year!

Here’s the news!
