Icons/Idols will be the opening show at Ice Factory 2016 at the New Ohio Theatre!
A choral play for 20 women singers that recovers the secret history of the Byzantine Empress Irene as she ascends in a society with deep animosity towards female rule.

Kathleen Amshoff recently directed A Bad Night, a documentary play about acquaintance rape, at Hunter College.

Helen Banner’s play Thrill Day is currently part of Nashville Repertory Theater’s Ingram New Works Festival 2016.

Jess Chayes is a Jam co-founder and co-artistic director of The Assembly.

Kim Davies’ play Stet, based on the Rolling Stone-UVA journalism scandal, premieres this June at the Abingdon Theatre Company.

Tasha Gordon-Solmon‘s play Coffee Break was produced at The Humana Festival earlier this month.

Krista Knight recently finished writing a dance-a-thon to the death teen musical with Dave Malloy.

Sarah Krohn recently directed Veil’d by Monet Hurst-Mendoza for Women’s Project Theatre’s Pipeline Festival.

Colette Robert will soon direct Icons/Idols at Ice Factory 2016 and The Mountaintop at Chester Theatre Company.

Caitlin Saylor Stephens is developing her play Two Men Missing In The Hudson River with director Portia Krieger as a 2015-16 New Georges Audrey Resident.

Lisa Szolovits recently collaborated with Eric Magnus on D R E A M R O O M at the Brooklyn Museum and Dirtbags at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts.

Nicole A. Watson recently directed Katori Hall’s Our Lady of Kibeho at Smith College.

Emma Weinstein recently directed Dreamland, an immersive installation experienced one-at-a-time at Williamsburg’s Glasshouse.

….and Eric Marlin is a co-founder of the Healthy Oyster Collective, and is currently developing Pastoral Play with them.
